Born in Switzerland to Italian parents from Calabria and raised in New York, Monica Malcolm is a native Italian speaker and certified teacher of Italian and TESOL. She is passionate about helping students connect through language, whether teaching Italian to world language learners or supporting K–12 ENL students as they develop English proficiency and confidence. Through Language Buffet, Monica has created more than a tutoring service—it is a welcoming space where language, culture, communication, and lifelong learning come together.
